From Monday 20 April until Wednesday 22 April Deltares, MARIN and TKI-Wind op Zee are organizing the BlueWeek2015. I would like to invite you for this free event. People from the industry, universities and research institutes working in marine renewable energy (offshore wind, tidal and wave energy) are welcome. During the BlueWeek2015, all parties can meet for their research projects (JIP, FLOW, TKI, EU) and hear about new research projects.

On Tuesday 21 April the program is all about informing each other on new projects and developments in offshore wind, wave and tidal energy. Also there is a possibility to pitch a new project idea! The program insists of:

• Inspiring presentations about recent innovations, research strategies and technical challenges with contributions of DNV GL, RWE, Siemens, TENNET, SPT Offshore, Swansea Bay Tidal Lagoon, TKI-WOZ, CarbonTrust, TU Delft. Click here for full program.
o Offshore HVDC platforms and lessons learnt in the German Bight
o Pile installation techniques: the Cuxhaven project: vibrating against impact driving
o Suction buckets, a new wind turbine support structure quickly growing in popularity
o Swansea Bay Tidal Lagoon
o Experiences with NL�s and UK�s subsidy schemes and possibilities within DEMO wind
o A new roadmap for tidal and wave energy
o Academic challenges in offshore wind
o Research agenda from a certifier�s point of view
• Pitches for new research projects (see below for more information)
• Matchmaking
• Tour along Deltares� test facilities (incl. the new Delta Flume, the world�s largest wave flume!)
On Monday and Wednesday several project meetings are organized of which many are open to anyone interested. Some projects are still starting up and inviting new participants. For the full program check the BlueWeek website.

The BlueWeek2015 will be hosted at Deltares, Boussinesqweg 1, Delft, The Netherlands.

Attending the BlueWeek is free of charge, but once subscribed we expect you to show up.

Tuesday 21 April is about informing each other on future needs and strategies. New project ideas are very important and the BlueWeek event is a perfect moment to meet the right partners for your project. Therefore the possibility is given to pitch your new project idea. All projects ideas will have the opportunity to present their idea by a poster presentation in the main hall. The best ideas will be invited to pitch their idea for the full audience of the BlueWeek2015.
