INVITATION
FME and Trade and Investment Queensland Australia (TIQ) and ABIE Netherlands are pleased to invite you to a joint webinar on priorities for the Hydrogen sector in the Australian state of Queensland.
Momentum currently behind hydrogen is unprecedented, with more and more policies, projects, and plans by governments and companies in all parts of the world and Hydrogen can help overcome many difficult energy challenges :
- Integrate more renewables, including by enhancing storage options and tapping their full potential.
- Decarbonise hard-to-abate sectors – steel, chemicals, trucks, ships and planes
- Enhance energy security by diversifying the fuel mix and providing flexibility to balance grids needs to be developed, cleaner Hydrogen is needed and regulatory frameworks need to be adopted
Now that the diversification of energy mix and de-carbonisation have become priorities in both The Netherlands and Australia, this webinar will be an opportunity for FME members to hear about the priorities set by the Queensland Government for the development of green hydrogen and its uses, and to analyse the potential opportunities in the Hydrogen sector in Australia and Queensland in particular.
